New York workflow

## Electronic reporting creates a recurring project obligation.

Project registration context, payroll end dates, contractor responsibility, due dates, and corrections belong in one repeatable process—not a one-off form at project close.

Purpose-built preparation

## Built around New York’s electronic reporting workflow.

Keep project registration context, payroll end dates, worker review, and correction evidence together before using the statewide submission system.

01

### Project and payroll-period context

Keep the covered project and payroll end date attached to the records being reviewed.

02

### Worker-level checks

Review supplied wage requirements, classifications, hours, fringe, and incomplete records before submission.

03

### Thirty-day workflow

Organize each reporting period around the state portal cadence instead of rebuilding context each time.

04

### Correction trail

Retain the issue, evidence, resolution, and replacement record as the workflow evolves.

One repeatable path

## From payroll export to reporting preparation.

1. 1

    **Set project context**

Identify the covered project, contractor, registration context, and reporting period.

2. 2

    **Review the payroll**

Run deterministic checks and surface contextual exceptions for human review.

3. 3

    **Resolve and document**

Correct the source data and retain the evidence behind each decision.

4. 4

    **Prepare submission**

Use the reviewed payroll in New York's electronic submission workflow.

**Validation boundary**
New York compliance rules are not fully evaluated. The reviewer must establish schedule applicability, supplements, overtime and reporting requirements. The diagnostic does not register projects, monitor due dates or submit records to NYSDOL.

One payroll is enough to start

## Give WagePilot one payroll.

01

### Upload

Use a WH-347, CSV, XLSX, or payroll export.

02

### WagePilot checks it

Rules handle arithmetic; contextual review handles ambiguity.

03

### Review exceptions

Clean entries disappear into the background.

Evidence before assertion

## Every exception answers three questions.

**What did WagePilot find?**
**Why was it flagged?**
**What evidence did it use?**

You are shown the reasoning—not asked to trust a black box.

Human control

## WagePilot doesn’t certify blindly.

The agent does the work. You keep the authority.

Routine review

### Prepared automatically

- Extract uploaded payroll
- Map supported fields

Material decisions

### Stay with you

Before you upload

## Clear answers to the risky questions.

**Current security boundary**
Nothing is filed automatically, and uploaded files are not intentionally retained by WagePilot after processing.

### Do I have to replace my payroll provider?

No. The launch workflow starts with a PDF, CSV, or XLSX export. Your payroll system remains the source.

### Does WagePilot submit reports automatically?

No. The diagnostic does not file anything. Material decisions and regulated submissions remain with you.

### What happens when the review is uncertain?

The item is surfaced with review limitations, supporting evidence, and a recommended next action for human review.

### Can I see why an issue was flagged?

Yes. Findings show the source, supplied rule evidence, calculation where applicable, review limitations, and next action.

### Does WagePilot calculate prevailing wages?

Code performs deterministic comparisons against wage rules you supply. The MVP does not automatically identify the legally applicable determination.

### What happens to my payroll data?

Files are held only while the review runs and are deleted when it finishes. PDF files are sent to OpenAI for structured extraction and the temporary uploaded file is deleted after processing. Unless your organization turns on the optional, encrypted keeping of originals in Settings, WagePilot does not keep payroll files.

### Can I use this for one project?

Yes. Start with one payroll and one project without creating an account or entering a credit card.

### What states are supported?

The initial diagnostic runs a narrow supplied-rules review. California, Illinois, and New York pages describe their reporting workflows, but WagePilot does not claim complete 50-state rules or filing support.
