ADP certified payroll

Keep ADP. Stop doing certified payroll by hand around it.

Export project payroll from ADP as CSV or Excel. WagePilot reviews it as a separate certified-payroll compliance layer—without an API connection or write-back.

  • No credit card
  • Nothing submitted automatically
  • CSV / XLSX / WH-347
No payroll migration

Do I need to replace ADP?

No. ADP continues to calculate and run payroll. WagePilot reviews the project export as the public-works compliance layer before reporting.

  • File-based at launch
  • No write-back to ADP
Purpose-built preparation

ADP remains payroll. WagePilot becomes the compliance layer.

The launch workflow starts with the ADP file you already produce. No payroll migration, parallel payroll run, or new system of record is required.

01

Import ADP payroll exports

Start with CSV or XLSX from your existing ADP reporting workflow while a direct connection remains out of scope for validation.

02

Attach project wage rules

Apply the supplied determination, classification, base-wage, and fringe rows to the covered payroll.

03

Review exceptions only

See missing fields, arithmetic discrepancies, wage shortfalls, and classification questions with source evidence.

04

Prepare the required output

Resolve the upstream payroll before preparing WH-347, DIR, state, or mandated-portal work.

One repeatable path

From payroll export to reporting preparation.

  1. 1
    Export from ADP

Use the payroll register or project export your team already relies on.

  2. 2
    Upload to WagePilot

Add project context and the applicable wage determination when available.

  3. 3
    Resolve exceptions

Review findings, verify source records and address every uncovered compliance check.

  4. 4
    Prepare reporting

Carry corrected payroll into the form or portal required by the project.

Validation boundaryThe validation build supports ADP file exports; it does not claim a live ADP API connection or write changes back to ADP.

One payroll is enough to start

Give WagePilot one payroll.

01

Upload

Use a WH-347, CSV, XLSX, or payroll export.

02

WagePilot checks it

Rules handle arithmetic; contextual review handles ambiguity.

03

Review exceptions

Clean entries disappear into the background.

Evidence before assertion

Every exception answers three questions.

What did WagePilot find? Why was it flagged? What evidence did it use?

You are shown the reasoning—not asked to trust a black box.

Before you upload

Clear answers to the risky questions.

Current security boundaryNothing is filed automatically, and uploaded files are not intentionally retained by WagePilot after processing.
Do I have to replace my payroll provider?

No. The launch workflow starts with a PDF, CSV, or XLSX export. Your payroll system remains the source.

Does WagePilot submit reports automatically?

No. The diagnostic does not file anything. Material decisions and regulated submissions remain with you.

What happens when the review is uncertain?

The item is surfaced with review limitations, supporting evidence, and a recommended next action for human review.

Can I see why an issue was flagged?

Yes. Findings show the source, supplied rule evidence, calculation where applicable, review limitations, and next action.

Does WagePilot calculate prevailing wages?

Code performs deterministic comparisons against wage rules you supply. The MVP does not automatically identify the legally applicable determination.

What happens to my payroll data?

Files are held only while the review runs and are deleted when it finishes. PDF files are sent to OpenAI for structured extraction and the temporary uploaded file is deleted after processing. Unless your organization turns on the optional, encrypted keeping of originals in Settings, WagePilot does not keep payroll files.

Can I use this for one project?

Yes. Start with one payroll and one project without creating an account or entering a credit card.

What states are supported?

The initial diagnostic runs a narrow supplied-rules review. California, Illinois, and New York pages describe their reporting workflows, but WagePilot does not claim complete 50-state rules or filing support.
